Relationships

I don't know about you but the Holy Spirit has been working overtime in me after Sunday's message from 1 Thessalonians 5:12-15. It is so easy to allow the root of bitterness (Hebrews 12:15) to hinder relationships. Deuteronomy 28:18-19 warns us that we must not turn away from Lord. I am convinved that the condition of my relationships with others is a reflection of my relationship with God. When I am "stubborn-hearted", selfish or hard-hearted my relationship with God is strained, not because of God, but because of the choices I make! Check your relationships today, starting with your relationship with Jesus. Never be lulled into a sense of security or complacency based upon the fact that you are a Christian. Our lives, our hearts, our relationships demand daily examination and we must make adjustments when necessary.
Get the spiritual Round-Up out and spray that weed of bitterness, anger, fear, selfishness and unforgiveness and kill those weeds. Spiritual Round-Up, oh that is God's word, prayer and accountability.

Thank you for your continual prayer for me, my family and the entire Arcade staff.

Praises:
I was able to get some rest last week!
great family time watching the Super Bowl with family and friends.
Continued peace as I serve as the TIP (temporary interim pastor)

Prayer requests:
We take Noah to a pediatric immunologist 2/3 at 8:00am to address an immunodeficiency he has. It could be nothing but Noah is a little scared and I have some minor anxiety over this.

Please pray for discipline to spend time in study for this week's message as I look at another busy week ahead.

Thank you all for praying, I look forward to seeing you on Saturday.

Pastor Jeremy
