Thank you all for your continued prayer. A special thank you for those who gathered on Saturday morning. I am already looking forward to March 7th.
What an amazing Sunday today (2/8/09). We wept at the loss of family, we rejoiced at the amazing stories of transformation during the baptisms, we worshiped like no buddy's business - I was truly blessed and I pray you were as well.
Prayer requests this week:
1) If you were there Saturday you know I need prayer in the area of ministry boundaries, in particular when to turn off my cell phone. I truly want to make God first in my life and my wife and family second. I just can't say but I need the discipline to do it. Sharon and I did have a sweet time of reconciliation after our prayer time, so that is a praise.
2) Prayer for my son Noah as we continue to explore his health issue.
3) Please pray for a continued anointing to preach the Word of God. Please praise God, along with me, for the "right turn" He guided me through Sunday morning.
4) Please pray for the finances of this church. I believe in faith, that we can meet and even exceed any budgetary goals. For us to have an even greater impact on the community, for us to equip and train the people of this church to do the Lord's work, for us to invest in the children and youth of Arcade we are going to have to sacrifice more. Please pray with me that sacrificial giving and tithing will grow in the months to come. Remember, I am not the head shepherd of this church, Jesus is! That is who we are giving to. Pray for obedience of the people of Arcade to give.
Don't forget this week to nourish your roots and build your foundation even stronger with the Word of God and live your life this week remember that the Creator of this universe is in you so walk in Him! Colossians 2:6-7
